Argentine Vice President criticized Supreme Court actions

Buenos Aires, May 12 (Prensa Latina) Argentine Vice President Cristina Fernández today denounced the actions of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) to suspend the provincial elections in San Juan and Tucumán and to hide irregularities committed by its members.

Last Tuesday, said organism decided to accept two precautionary measures filed by opposition forces and ordered the postponement of the elections to select the authorities of those territories, which were scheduled for next Sunday.

This decision was known when the former general administrator of the Supreme Court of Justice Hector Marchi denounced before the Impeachment Commission of the Chamber of Deputies actions carried out by the members of the highest court (Horacio Rosatti, Carlos Rosenkrantz, Juan Carlos Maqueda and Ricardo Lorenzetti) to pay for the silence of those who could denounce them for illicit enrichment and corruption.

In addition, it was disclosed shortly after the media published the alleged involvement of the leader of the opposition Republican Proposal party, Patricia Bullrich, in the concealment of evidence on the links between politicians and the attack perpetrated against Fernández on September 1, 2022.

“They already got away with it, they did the double: 1- Cautionary measures against Peronism in San Juan and Tucumán; 2- Covering up the Rosatti scandal and his illicit enrichment. Now they have no more excuses. Let Tucumán people vote in peace”, wrote the vice president in her profile in the social network Twitter.
