The Türkiye governance of Communications posted on Twitter that, in the last few hours, talks took place to address the events, adding that Erdogan expressed sadness and concern over what is being happening.
Türkiye is ready to hold talks if a decision is adopted to start comprehensive negotiations, the institution noted.
It also stressed that the Turkish president will continue his efforts in contact with the United Nations to ensure that the urgent humanitarian needs for the Sudanese people are met.
Erdogan’s offer comes after the Sudanese Army and the RSF group held preliminary contacts in the Saudi city of Jeddah last weekend.
Clashes involving heavy weapons broke out between the troops and the RSF group in Khartoum and several other cities on April 15.
