Those attending the Covarrubias Hall of Teatro Nacional de Cuba on May 7 will enjoy a classical program by this orchestra, including Saint-Saëns’ Symphony No. 3 and Maurice Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major.

The audience could also appreciate the art of Daiana García, assistant conductor of that orchestra, who will share the stage with the multiple-awarded pianist Rodrigo García.

Founded on October 7, 1959, the National Symphony Orchestra has carried out a broad work to spread Cuban, Latin American, and universal music of all periods and styles.

Under the slogan “Island that sounds,” the most important event of the Cuban recording industry, awards the records that best comply with the requirements in each category.
