Vietnam-Cuba inter-party seminar to address core issues

Hanoi, May 2 (Prensa Latina) The Fifth Theoretical Seminar between the Communist Parties of Vietnam (PCV) and Cuba (PCC), to be held here on Wednesday, will address core issues of the work of both organizations, according to the program released today.

The meeting will be chaired by the member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the PCC, Roberto Morales, and by Nguyen Xuan Thang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the PCV, president of the Central Theoretical Council and rector of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

Xuan Thang himself will address the topic “Some theoretical and practical issues on the construction of socialism in Vietnam”, while the member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the PCC Joel Queipo will refer to the political assurance of the economic actors to consolidate the Cuban socialist road.

For his part, the scientific secretary of the Central Theoretical Council, Nguyen Van Giang, will speak on the construction of party organizations in the Vietnamese business sector.

The Young Communist League in the current political-ideological combat will be the topic to be addressed by the first secretary of the National Committee of that organization and member of the State Council, Aylín Alvarez.
