Dyurich explained the action taken by means of two complaints that were received from the local workers’ dormitory, consisting of migrants from Ukrainian Transcarpathia who raped a 16-year-old girl and a 22-year-old woman.
He stated that he does not intend to tolerate such cases.
“I refuse to put up with their lack of normal behavior and the bullying of young girls in Kerepes” the mayor said.
The video shows how the major, accompanied by the police, entered the dormitory of Ukrainian workers and demanded them to go home.
According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), from February 24, 2022, to March 28, 2023, a total of 8,172,311 Ukrainian refugees arrived in Europe, with more than five million people registered in European countries as part of national aid programs.
