Morales and his delegation arrived in the southern city of Ho Chi Minh City from Laos on Sunday. His first activity there was an emotional meeting with solidarity organizations in Vietnam.
“It touches affection and support for Cuba, which is at the same time reciprocal, because we are still willing to give our own blood for Vietnam,” Morales posted on Twitter.
Shining night in Ho Chi Minh City, described Morales, while noting fireworks – in celebrations to victory over US imperialism- could be enjoyed from the banks of the Saigon River.
“The city comes to a standstill and people join in the celebration. Once again, congratulations, Vietnam,” he tweeted.
The visit to Vietnam is the third and last stage of a tour over socialist countries in Asia, which started off past April 23.
The tour is considered as an opportunity to continue promoting political talks and to contribute to boosting economic, commercial, financial and cooperation relations.
