Israeli fighter jets fired from the airspace of northern Lebanon against some sites in the vicinity of the city of Homs, the Syrian Defense Ministry announced.
This is Israel’s eleventh strike this year, the most recent one on 24 as artillery fired over 20 missiles at sites west of the city of Hadar.
Six of these hostile actions were carried out against Damascus, two against Aleppo International Airport, one against Messiaf municipality in Hama governorate and two in Homs.
According to an official report, these hostile actions killed three military personnel and six civilians, and injured 12 military officers.
Israel frequently strikes Syria under the pretext of attacking Iranian targets, while Damascus claims these hostile actions cause deaths among civilians, aim at prolonging the war, keeping the country unstable and weakening its national army.
The Foreign Ministry claimed the Middle East region cannot enjoy peace and stability without an end to Israeli aggressions, which it described as fascist. pll/ro/fm
