According to statements made by the authorities of TASS news agency, the goal is to reach a production of 32,000 unmanned aerial vehicles by 2030, not counting ultralight drones weighing less than one kilogram.
Belousov explained that there are plans to create a special working group in late May with the participation of companies that will examine in detail the algorithms for certifications and access to drones and which will take stock of the regulatory system.
About 20,000 drones have been imported by Russia from other countries this year, and another 12,000 are domestically produced, mostly made with foreign components, the authorities added.
