According to official sources from the organization, the programs, activities and local projects developed in various sectors are worth more than one million, benefiting nearly 2.5 million people.
Meanwhile, the actions taken abroad amounted to more than seven billion dirhams and benefited 214.5 million people.
According to a report by the UAE’s news agency, WAM, the chairman of the Red Crescent’s Board of Directors, Hamdan Al Mazrouei, attributes this success to the support from UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his government.
He added that the humanitarian agency has helped to significantly alleviate human suffering in conflict regions and is providing essential care to those affected.
This achievement reflects the strong commitment by the UAE leaders to humanitarian causes and the organization’s tireless charitable efforts, Al Mazrouei noted.
The Red Crescent is a key player in the humanitarian field, offering its assistance in various regions and disasters around the world and investing in construction, development, reconstruction projects and infrastructure rehabilitation in those nations.
