At a meeting at the Cabinet’s headquarters, the two officials stressed the importance of making bigger efforts to foster cooperation in the sectors of power generation, oil byproducts, gas, communications and tourism.
They also discussed the establishment of joint projects that have economic viability and open new perspectives that favor the common interest of the two countries, which are subjected to illegal economic sanctions and an unfair blockade.
Damascus and Tehran are facing common challenges and adversities together, so it is necessary to strengthen strong strategic relations in a way that will positively impact the two countries, the officials assured.
The Syrian chief executive underlined the Syrian Government’s determination to strengthen economic cooperation and trade, and raise then to the highest level of political relations.
