Representatives of more than 300 companies from Russia, Uzbekistan and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) are taking part in this event (CIS).
“I wish you interesting and meaningful communication, success and all the best,” Putin´s message concluded.
According to the Russian leader, Central Asia has rich natural resources and colossal human potential, “regional economic cooperation processes demonstrate very high dynamics,” he added.
The President stated that commercial exchange between Russia and Uzbekistan, the host country of the exhibition, increased by more than 25% in 2022; “it is the most indicative rate of development of interaction on both sides,” he said.
In addition, Putin expressed his confidence that businessmen exchange experiences and current issues of economic, industrial and investment collaboration.
A three-day exhibition kicked off on April 24th in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, with the aim of strengthening business ties between CIS members and outlining mutually beneficial joint projects.
