That is the assessment shared with Prensa Latina by Andres Taño, secretary general of the Cuban Judo Federation (FJC), when evaluating the performances by Cuba’s 14 representatives at the ALBA tournament, where they were proclaimed champions with 11 titles, three silver medals and one bronze medal.
They finished quite ahead the teams of Venezuela (4-10-2), Nicaragua (0-2-11) and Bolivia (0-0-2).
“The performances by all 14 athletes has been at the height of their talent, and secondly, the level of their training,” the FJC chief noted.
