This was verified from Guadalajara in its tour of the state of the mariachis by the official of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) Idania Ramos, who completed an extensive work program in the preparations for that event that will take place on the 29th and 30 of this month at the Universidad Obrera Vicente Lombardo Toledano.

In addition to meetings with local leaders of the Mexican Movement of Solidarity with Cuba, sponsor of the meeting, and other friendly organizations, Ramos held a discussion with sociology and political science students from the University Center for Social Sciences and Humanities of the University of Guadalajara.

There she was accompanied by Mario Nájera, from the Department of Studies on Social Movements and an academic from the José Martí Chair.

The conference was broadcast live on the Facebook channel of the Political Training Secretary of the ruling Morena party.

She also gave a conference on the reality of the Caribbean island at the headquarters of the José Martí Guadalajara Cuban-Mexican Institute of Cultural Relations, which concluded with a cultural activity by the Atecocolli duo.

Among the topics discussed in both talks were those related to the 28th Latin American and Caribbean Brigade of Solidarity with Cuba and its meeting at the end of the month in Mexico City.

For his part, Nájera invited to the Marti events that will take place next week in Guadalajara organized by the José Martí Chair of the University of Guadalajara, within the programming for the 128th anniversary of the fall in combat of the National Hero of Cuba.
