The diplomat told Prensa Latina that this event gathers the world’s strongest rhythmic gymnasts from 46 countries, who compete, for three days, in the program of individual and group exercises, including all-around competitions and apparatus finals.
The AGF Trophy World Cup is traditionally awarded to the gymnast and team that have received the highest score from the judges at the World Cup.
It is the 10th Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup taking place in Azerbaijan. Baku previously hosted World Cups in 2005 and 2019, Valdes said.
