The film will be screened at Charles Chaplin movie theater in Havana this Thursday as part of the film festival that will last until Sunday, April 23, conceived in the framework of the Month of Europe in Cuba.
Directed by Jonas Poher Rasmussen and winner of the 2021 Lux Prize the European Parliament annually grants, “Flee” tells the story of an Afghan refugee who lives in Denmark and agrees to tell his life story on condition of anonymity.
The Macedonian fiction film “Dios es mujer y se llama Petrunya” (God Exists, Her Name is Petrunya) (2019), directed by Teona Strugar Mitevska, will be screened on the 23 y 12 movie theater this Thursday.
The European Film Festival aims to bring the seventh art of that continent through the work of outstanding filmmakers, European Union Ambassador to Cuba, Isabel Brilhante Pedrosa, said at a press briefing a few days before its screening.
