Baeza pointed out that the proposals made by the lawmakers recognizes the work of the incumbent president, who has led the country in the midst of very adverse circumstances and who has prioritized collective work, innovation and science.

She pointed out that, likewise, it was decided to propose Salvador Valdes to the position of vice president of the Republic, which he has held until now and where he has worked very close to the people.

She added that both leaders meet the requirements established by law.
