The official stressed that pesticides will allow control of pests and various diseases, especially in vegetables, which will permit Bolivians to consume higher quality products.
In September 2022, the president of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, Antonio Carricarte, and the former director of the International Fair of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Oscar Mario Justiniano, held a meeting.
Carricarte was received by Justiniano along with a dozen Bolivian businessmen willing to relaunch economic-commercial activities with Cuba, as the General Consulate of Cuba highlighted on Twitter.
Cuba participated in the 31st Bolivia International Business Roundtable, at the Expo Cruz 2022 Fair, in which a delegation from Cuba participated, represented by the Minister of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, the General Director of Livestock of the Ministry of Agriculture, Alain Rodriguez, the president of the Livestock Business Group, Yoan Sarduy, and the general director of the Jimaguayú Agricultural Company, Arnaldo Gil, among others.
