According to the Kremlin website on Friday, the head of state stressed that the issue of information security was the most important topic of the day’s agenda, given the current circumstances. The meeting, in which other topical issues were discussed, was also attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
Also in attendance were Security Service Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, Federal Security Service Director Aleksander Bortnikov, and Foreign Intelligence Service Chief Sergey Naryshkin.
