The commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Naval Force, Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, noted that the parade was held in condemnation of the atrocities carried out by Israel against Palestine and in solidarity with its people.
According to the IRGC Navy high command, these parades convey the message to Tel Aviv that “the oppressed Palestinians are not alone and that support for Palestine is growing every year.”
Tangsiri explained that these military parades involve more than 2,700 vessels simultaneously in various ports in the Muslim world, including Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and other parts of the region.
Iran’s maritime parades are taking place in the Caspian Sea (north), in the Persian Gulf and the sea of Oman (south) in salute to the World Al-Quds Day that takes place yearly on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan (the ninth month of the Islamic calendar).
All Muslims and free people in the world march to express their solidarity with the Palestinian cause against decades of Israeli occupation.
Among the atrocities are last week’s raids of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (Jerusalem) by Israeli soldiers, which left dozens injured and hundreds of Palestinians arrested as they prayed in the mosque, the third holiest place for Muslims.

Irán despliega gran desfile naval en solidaridad con Palestina
Teherán, 14 abr (Prensa Latina) Irán desplegó un gran desfile marítimo en las regiones costeras del norte y sur del país, en solidaridad con pueblo palestino, en ocasión de conmemorarse el día de Al-Quds.
El comandante de la Fuerza Naval del Cuerpo de Guardianes de la Revolución Islámica (CGRI) de Irán, el contralmirante, Alireza Tangsiri, señaló que el desfile fue realizado en condena de las atrocidades realizadas por del régimen israelí contra Palestina y en solidaridad con su pueblo.
Según el alto mando de la Marina del CGRI, estos desfiles transmiten el mensaje a Tel Aviv de «que los palestinos oprimidos no están solos y que aumenta cada año el apoyo a Palestina».
Tangsiri explicó que estas paradas militares involucran a más de dos mil 700 embarcaciones de manera simultánea en varios puertos del mundo musulmán, incluidos los de Siria, Líbano, Yemen, Iraq y en otros lugares de la región.
Los desfiles marítimos de Irán se desarrollan en el Mar Caspio (norte), en el Golfo Pérsico y el mar de Omán (sur) en saludo al Día Mundial de Al-Quds que tiene lugar cada año, el último viernes del mes sagrado de Ramadán (el noveno mes del calendario islámico).
Durante la jornada, todos los musulmanes y personas libres del mundo, realizan marchas para expresar su solidaridad con la causa palestina frente a décadas de ocupación israelí.
Entre las atrocidades a las que hacen referencia se cuentan que la semana pasada, las fuerzas israelíes allanaron dos veces la Mezquita Al-Aqsa, en Al-Quds (Jerusalén), con saldo de decenas de heridos y cientos de palestinos arrestados cuando rezaban en el tercer lugar más sagrado para los musulmanes.
