In an exclusive interview with the Pecat weekly, the diplomat also mentioned important aspects on which he will focus his diplomatic activity here.

He talked about the 120-year-old history of bilateral relations and the high level of political ties between the two countries.

Rodriguez mentioned the main projections of his diplomatic mission for the development of economic, trade and investment ties, as well as the interests of promoting medical and biopharmaceutical cooperation.

He noted tourism and agriculture as areas of common interest, in addition to others where memorandums of understanding have been signed to boost mutually beneficial collaboration.

The diplomat praised the work of the Serbia-Cuba Friendship Society in the fight against Cuba’s inclusion in Washington’s unilateral State Sponsors of Terrorism list and the Revolution’s defense against imperialist aggression.
