The authorities reached the Hotel Jagua and tourist facilities located in the southern circuit of Cienfuegos, as well as large production centers in the style of the livestock company El Tablón and Lácteos Escambray, in the municipality of Cumanayagua.

In the port area and in the Industrial Fishing Combine they learned about the actions to increase productivity and better wages for workers, reported the Cuban News Agency.

The visitors spoke the day before with workers and students in Aguada de Pasajeros, Cruces, and Lajas. The tour of that territory is expected to end tomorrow.

In the case of the neighboring province of Villa Clara, they visited units of productive and social interest in the municipalities of Corralillo, Placetas, Remedios and Manicaragua.

While in the provincial capital -Santa Clara- they completed a tight inspection program at the Marta Abreu University, the Manuel Ascunce Pedagogical School and the José Luis Miranda Pediatric Hospital.

In turn, they will hold a meeting with residents of the 41st district of Virginia, a peripheral area of the city.

The objective of these visits is to delve into issues such as the internal life of the Party at the grassroots level, the contribution to the battle for the country’s economic growth and compliance with the agreements made during the VIII Congress of the governing body of political life in the island.
