The representatives of the different commercial entities offer a variety of food products, including preserves, sweets, pasta and jams, as well as detergents of different types, clothes among others, said the Governor of Damascus, Tarek Kreishati.
He explained that this type of activity allows the direct sale of the producer to the consumer without intermediaries, which facilitates the access of citizens with low income to different products.
According to the head of the Chamber of Industry of Damascus, Ghazwan Al-Masri, this fair has become a monthly tradition since 2016, particularly during Ramadan, the Muslim fasting month, which brings benefits for both the producer and the consumer.
