The European solidarity platform published Canada’s message by Julio Fonseca, who, on behalf of the organization, agreed to participate in the initiative, aiming at mobilizing associations, prominent figures, and individuals from different continents with actions against the US economic, commercial, and financial blockade.
Fonseca said we support the campaign and join Europe for Cuba against that policy and imperialism.
He considered the Washington-imposed blockade for more than six decades as a declared economic war against Cuban families and the leading cause of the problems in Cuba.
We demand the United States Government stop choking the families and remove Cuba from its list of countries that sponsor terrorism. We know Cuba’s position about this issue; and where terrorism comes from, Fonseca stressed.
On Monday, Europe for Cuba channel launched the “Tsunami” initiative in its latest campaign to denounce and condemn the blockade, following the organization of caravans, rallies, claims on social medias, and other activities since its founding in October 2020.
