Since Monday, the Fiñes Gallery, located in the historic center of Old Havana, has been hosting this collective exhibition, which includes part of more than 70 posters created by students of the Higher Institute of Design (ISDI) and inspired in the work done by Garcia Marruz (1923-2022).
The exhibition will be opened to the public until September, as part of her 100th birthday and with the participation of the Office of the Historian of Havana.
According to this institution, the exhibition is part of a heritage education line of work that aims to bring new generations closer to the work of prominent figures of Cuban culture, from interpretation to artistic creation.
On behalf of the Vitier García-Marruz family, musician José María Vitier expressed his gratitude to those who made the exhibition possible, according to cultural medias.
