“During the meeting there was a confidential exchange of views on the current Middle East agenda, with special attention to the settlement in Western Sahara on the basis of the corresponding United Nations (UN) Security Council resolutions.

The main issues that will be addressed at the second Russia-Africa summit, at the initiative of President Vladimir Putin, were also mentioned, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

The foreign agency specified that the meeting was held at the initiative of the Cuban side.
