Mesa told Prensa Latina that he was satisfied with the program carried out during his stay in this nation, which he said had exceeded expectations, referring to the meetings the Cuban delegation held in Ho Chi Minh City.

There, Phan Van Mai, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, met with the Cuban minister and his accompanying delegation.

Van Mai stressed the importance he attached in strengthening cooperation with Cuba in all sectors in order to consolidate and develop the special ties between the two nations.

The Vietnamese official emphasized the need to promote business cooperation in areas of common interest to both parties and praised the proposals made by the Cuban minister, who also mentioned the interest in learning new production technologies.

During a meeting with the directors of the Association of Construction Entrepreneurs and Building Materials, Mesa presented the investment opportunities Cuba offers in this sphere, which includes the production of cement, mortar, lime, plaster, light panels, red ceramics, marble, and Jaimanite stone.
