At least 32 persons died so far, due to the tornadoes that swept 11 states in the southern and north-central United States, among them Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Ohio, and it is feared that the death toll will increase as time passes.
According to various media reports, the death toll includes, at least, nine in a Tennessee county, four in the small town of Wynne (Arkansas), three in Sullivan (Indiana) and four in Illinois.
