The agreement was signed by the island’s Minister of Communications, Mayra Arevich, and Cao Shuming, Vice Minister of Cyberspace Administration of China, in the context of the working visit of a high-level delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister, Jorge Luis Perdomo.
During the day, the Cuban officer also discussed various issues of bilateral economic agenda with the executive vice president of the Development Bank of China, Wang Weidong, and the president of the Export Credit Insurance Corporation, Sheng Hetai.
He was also received by Han Fangming, who heads the Charhar academic institute, and with whom he agreed to strengthen educational and cultural exchanges between the two nations.
Perdomo arrived in Beijing last Thursday and since then he has spoken with high-ranking Chinese authorities such as Vice Prime Minister, Zhang Guoqing, the head of Industries and Information Technology, Jin Zhuanglong; the president of the International Development Agency, Luo Zhaohui, and Zeng Yixin, vice president of the National Health Commission, among others.
His working visit will continue from tomorrow in Changchun, Jilin province, where he will meet with local authorities and tour the Changheber joint venture.
