In a press conference, the general director of International Relations and Foreign Trade of the Government of the capital, Luis Carlos Góngora, pointed out that, like the previous one, it will take place at ExpoCuba and will have an expo-venta format.
It will be a space for meeting, integration and identification of opportunities for the different actors of the economy, who will be able to demonstrate their potential in contributing to the sustainable development of municipalities and in strengthening the productive and service framework at that level, he said.
The Fair will be dedicated to young people and exports, and local development projects may participate; micro, small and medium enterprises (mipymes); cooperatives; self-employed workers, state companies and universities, among other forms of management or entities.
Góngora also specified that enterprises from other provinces that are interested may participate.
Launch of products and services, business negotiations, a cultural program and gastronomic offers will be among the activities that will accompany the expo-sale, which will be open to the public and will have a virtual space on the EnlaceHabana platform.
The main exporting and importing companies and a group of organizations that interact with the new forms of non-state management will also be present at the Fair, which will allow them to interact and clarify doubts, Góngora pointed out.
On June 12 and 13, at the Morro Cabaña Park, it will precede a theoretical event to compare the best experiences in terms of productive chains and technological innovation, as well as the presence of women and young entrepreneurs.
Those interested in participating in both moments may register between April 3 and June 1, in the Local Development departments of municipal governments, the official explained.
He also mentioned that the organizing committee will award prizes to the best stands, products and services, as well as the municipality with the best representation, among other special prizes.
The Fair will be held in the context of the National Economic Productive Conference and will be a showcase for the 2,980 cooperatives and MSMEs in the capital.
