Choe Ryong Hae, chairman of the Presidium of the Parliament, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and first vice chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Committee, presented the Cuban diplomat with the first-class Order of Friendship.

Participating in the ceremony, which took place at the Mansudae Congress Palace, were Yun Jong Ho, minister of Foreign Economic Relations; So Ho Won, chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries; and Ko Myong Hun, general secretary of the Korean Committee for Solidarity with Cuba.
