The meeting is taking place at the headquarters of the Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO), the IETO president, Dr. Asif Iqbal, told Prensa Latina.
The Cuban experts plan to hold several meetings during their stay in India with local managers, including the secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Alkesh Kumar Sharma, and Professor Naveen Garg, dean of International Programs at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
The Cuban delegation might also meet with Arvind Kumar, director general of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI); Railways, Communications, Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw; and the Head of State for Communications, Devusinh Chauhan.
They will also hold talks with the executive of the Indian Institute of Technology, Sapnesh Lala, and the president of the National Association of Software and Services Companies, Debjani Ghosh.
The Cuban representatives will attend the opening of the International Information Technology and Communications Technology Exhibition and Conference, Indiasoft 2023, on Monday, a meeting that has been held consecutively since 2001 and has become a favorite meeting point for Indian technology developers and consumers around the world.
This three-day event, which is considered the largest technology meeting in India, will take place at the capital’s Pragati Maidan fairgrounds with the participation of more than 500 delegates from at least 60 countries, as well as 1,500 electronics, hardware and national information technologies exhibitors.
