At the polling station 1 in the constituency 27 in this town in western Mayabeque province, Valdes noted that this is a day of support for the political system, joy, democracy, and revolutionary reaffirmation.
Subsequently, the leader visited polling station 2 in the constituency 51, and expressed interest in the statistics about the number of voters. He also highlighted women’s role at the polling station, the Diario Mayabeque newspaper reported on its Twitter account.
Valdes was accompanied by the first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in Mayabeque, Yuniasky Crespo Baquero, andGovernor Tamara Valido Benitez.
