According to the Bild newspaper and the NTV channel, the driver was mentally disturbed.

Reportedly, the exact number of people injured is unknown, although no one was seriously wounded.

The driver resisted to the police and attacked at least two officers but he was finally arrested and taken to a hospital to determine his mental state.
