The Russian diplomat explained that Lavrov and Moncada would review the current state of bilateral relations and the tasks for further developing the partnership between the two countries, including strengthening political dialogue and expanding trade, economic, scientific, and technical ties.
Both foreign ministers will discuss aspects of cultural and humanitarian relations, the implementation of priority projects of bilateral cooperation in the material sphere, and the improvement of the legal and contractual basis, Zakharova stated.
The spokeswoman also noted that special attention is expected to strengthen close cooperation in the current geopolitical reality on international platforms, primarily within the framework of the United Nations.
“The issue of promoting talks between Russia and the leading integration associations of Latin America, particularly Central America, will be discussed,” she added.
