Díaz-Canel stressed he will be back Cuba before Sunday in order to participate in the national elections, where deputies for the 10th National Assembly of People’s Power (ANPP) will be elected.

In its capacity as the Group-77 + China President, Cuba will urge the Ibero-American Summit for promoting more and better international cooperation necessary for the South, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez live-tweeted.

In this regard, the Cuban president said that cooperation is a noble and useful way among nations, especially “in uncertain and challenging times like the ones we are presently living in. It´s a necessity and emergency”. pll/mem/mks
