According to SODePaz (Solidarity for Development and Peace), the meeting will be held at the San Servando Castle from this Friday until Sunday.
Sixty members of Spanish and European development cooperation organizations are expected to participate.
Cuba will be represented in the opening ceremony by Guadalupe Martín González, Deputy Advisor of Social Welfare (International Cooperation); Laura Soler, an officer of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (MINCEX); and Rene Capote, economic advisor at the Cuban Embassy in Spain.
Technicians from several Cuban institutions, including the University of Moa, the Jesús Menéndez municipality, and the development NGOs Cubasolar and Actaf, are also on the list of participants.
On Saturday, the documentary film “Cuba’s Task Life” will be shown in the presence of its producer, Helen Yaffe.
