The consignment was found at a house in Pajas Blancas resort in southwest Montevideo. As part of the operation, the police carried out eight raids in the capital and the departments of Montevideo, Canelones, San José, and Río Negro.

Investigation revealed that drugs originated in Bolivia, were stored in Uruguay, and were destined for Europe.
