The Cuban Art Factory hosts a wide range of local talent alongside alternative music exponents from the Netherlands, Norway, and Italy, with the support of Cuba’s oldest recording company, EGREM, the Ministry of Culture, and the Cuban Institute of Music.
The Primera Base Azilem music contest’s winners will be one of the proposals this Thursday. Azilem stands out for fusing Trap with R&B, and AlexZoez & WizzoSanfer will present jazz, urban, electronic, and pop music.
Led by singer and artistic director Eme Alfonso, the event will be an opportunity to know the work of rap duet Isla Escarlata, which also explores other genres such as son jarocho, traditional Cuban music, Afrobeat, and electronic music,” according to the festival’s official website.
