The garrison will be home to the US Army’s 5th Corps deployed in Europe.
According to Blaszczak, the garrison´s major mission is to manage military outposts and provide logistical support to troops Washington maintains in Poland, which includes some 10,000 soldiers, twice as many as before 2022.
