Cuban authorities satisfied with cooperation visit to France

Paris, Mar 21 (Prensa Latina) Authorities from the central Cuban province of Cienfuegos on Tuesday expressed satisfaction with the results of their official visit paid to French cities, where they reviewed ongoing cooperation projects and explored new openings.

It´s been not only a rough nine-day visit, but also rewarding thanks to the support of the association Cuba Coopération France (CubaCoop), a stay that allowed Cuban authorities to meet with mayors, companies and people in solidarity, Yolexis Rodriguez, Cienfuegos vice governor, told Prensa Latina.

According to Rodriguez, in addition to boosting Cuba-France relations and collaborations, the Cuban delegation visit allowed to note affection for Cuba and recognition of its resistance.

We received permanent expressions of solidarity and listened to the condemnation of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on our country, she stressed.

We are leaving France pledged to continue reviewing projects and to study others for the future, said the vice-governor, who thanked CubaCoop for its 16 years of support to Cienfuegos.
