Cuban residents in the Netherlands support elections in Cuba

Amsterdam, Mar 20 (Prensa Latina) The association of Cuban residents in the Netherlands, "Cuba en mi Alma" (Cuba in My Soul), on Monday expressed support for the elections of the lawmakers of the National People's Power Assembly in their country, and defended unity.

With a fist of firmness and loyalty to our flag we support this process and the national elections on March 26, they stressed in a statement.

Millions of Cubans are called to vote next Sunday to elect all 470 parliamentarians, with the option of voting for all, for several or for one of the candidates on the ballot.

In its message of support for the homeland in this democratic moment, Cuba en mi Alma reiterated its support for the Revolution and its rejection of the aggression.

The association particularly rejected the decision by the Government of the United States to keep Cuba in the unilateral State Sponsors of Terrorism list, which it described as fraudulent.

It is yet another effort to tighten the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba, the association denounced.
