Lawmakers emphasized at a meeting that appointing the next head of State is necessary to solve the collapse in cooperation with the legislature and a new government.
Headed by Representative Muhammad Raad, the meeting insisted on unifying national will to benefit from positive climates and renewing capacities and sectors of state institutions.
As the deterioration of living conditions increases, lawmakers warned about losing confidence in the State, disruption of public and private facilities, and spreading poverty and crime.
In the fifth month of power void, Loyalty to the Resistance bloc reaffirmed its support for the candidacy of former Minister Suleiman Franjieh as president of the Republic by proposing a realistic, balanced, and open national vision to build the best relations with its people, the Arab and Islamic countries and the rest of the world. Incidentally, the bloc called on the country’s all forces to assume their national responsibilities and negotiate to push forward the recovery reforms and face citizens’ issues.
