Cuba’s presence at the Tourism Fair in Italy is highlighted (+Photos)

Rome, Mar 17 (Prensa Latina) Cuba stands out as a destination with new and attractive products during the XXVI Mediterranean Tourism Fair (BMT), which is ongoing in the southern city of Naples, a spokeswoman for the Cuban delegation informed on Friday.

Madelen Gonzalez-Pardo, chief counselor of the Cuban Embassy in Italy and head of its tourist office, told Prensa Latina that, as every year, the Caribbean nation is successfully promoting its offers, which has arisen wide interest among those attending the event, one of the most important of its kind in Europe.

Gonzalez-Pardo heads his country’s delegation to the fair, which also includes the officer for cultural affairs in that diplomatic mission, Gabriela Gamez, who together with tour operators in this market as Experience Travel, SoloCuba and Cubarama, among others, present various products of the Cuba Unica promotion.

Travel agencies and operators from Italy and other parts of the world receive detailed information on the potential and novelties of Cuba, which stands out for its culture, traditions, history and nature, as well as for the friendliness and joy of our people,’ Gonzalez-Pardo said.

She aso highlighted the call presented in this space, for the next edition of FitCuba 2023, to be held from May 2 to 5 in Havana, the most important tourism event in her country, devoted this year to the cultural heritage.

The BMT runs from March 16 to 18, 2023, with an exhibition area of some 12,000 square meters, where more than 400 exhibitors from 26 countries will be present, and it is estimated that this year some 22,000 professionals from the sector will attend,

Some 10,500 accredited operators, as well as representatives of hundreds of airlines, cruise lines and hotel chains from all over the world will be at this venue, according to the organizers of this Italian tourism exchange.
