Called Business20, the meeting is the third of four B20 events organized in the North East region of India, and is the G20’s official forum for dialogue with the global business community as well as for the most prominent engagement groups in the forum.
Based on the discussions at the meetings, the final recommendations will form part of the overall expected results under the Indian presidency of the bloc of the world’s 20 largest economies.
The G20 is an international forum of rulers and central bankers, who discusses policies related with the promotion of international financial stability.
The group is integrated by Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain (permanent guest), the United States, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Russia, South Africa and Turkey, plus the European Union.
The gathering will include meetings with government officials, policy makers, business leaders, CEOs, representatives of multilateral organizations and local businessmen.
