With this favorable situation regarding the disease, caused by the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus, no new cases were reported on Monday, nor were deaths or serious or critically ill cases counted among 25 active patients who remain hospitalized, all in a stable clinical evolution.

Since Covid-19 was detected in the country in March 2020 to date, Cuba has made 14,325,911 PCR tests, which resulted in 1,112,667 positive cases.

Regarding the vaccination strategy nationwide, by the end of March 12, 43,715,053 people were administered doses of Cuba’s homegrown Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala vaccines.
