According to RosCosmos statement in Instagram, the Proton-M worked normally and the upper stage separated as planned and the Luch-5X was put into orbit.
It was also reported that the Luch multifunctional space communication system, the fifth in a line of X-series satellites already in orbit, allows data exchange between the Russian segment of the International Space Station and the Mission Control Center.
The Agency also reminded that the successful course of these launches has gone for more than five years already, and that they have been carried out, indistinctly, from Baikonur, Plesetsk and Vostochni cosmodromes.
