The Cuban visitors held a working meeting with Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Sunday and agreed that there is potentials to increase bilateral trade.
The Cuban side also expressed its willingness to favor the investment of Indian capital in Cuba and joint projects in renewable energy and pharmaceutical industry.
The Cuban officials concluded a visit to Bangalore, the capital of the state of Karnataka and the center of the high-tech industry of the Asian country.
In Bangalore, the visiting delegation presented the opportunities for foreign investment in Cuba in a business forum organized by the Indian Economic Trade Organization, presided over by Dr. Asif Iqbal.
The Cuban delegation arrived at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport from Doha, the capital of Qatar, on Thursday, where they participated in the 5th United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5).
