On her Telegram channel, the Russian diplomat said that, according to Ukrainian media, Zelensky instructed Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal to thoroughly resolve the possibility of changing the name of Russia to Muscovy.
It is another sign of the feelings of the ruling class in Ukraine after the February 2014 coup d’état, Zakharova stated.
According to Zelensky, changing the name of Russia to Muscovy in the Ukrainian language requires “careful study both at the level of historic and cultural contexts, as well as taking into account possible international legal consequences.”
