MINSAP added that five patients were discharged so the number of recovered patients rose to 1,104,038 since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, while 1,112,647 contagions with the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus have been reported since then.
No deaths were reported, so the death toll remains at 8,530.
According to MINSAP, 90.3 percent of the population have received the full vaccination schedule, while 8,705,939 people have been administered booster doses of Cuba’s homegrown vaccines.
