During the meeting, the ICAP official highlighted India’s importance in the international arena, backed by its historic participation in the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), its membership in the BRICS Group, along with Russia, China, Brazil and South Africa, and his pro tempore presidency of the Group of 20, the forum that brings together the largest economies on the planet.
At his meeting with Suwan, who is also the director general of the Indian Institute of Governance and Leadership, Gaute underscored India’s role in world matters concerning peace and solidarity, during the meeting at the Cuban Embassy in New Delhi.
